Security
Homeland Security or national Resilience refers to the broad national effort by all levels of government to protect the territory of their country from hazards, both internal and external, natural and man-made.
With the current climate, globally countries are increasing their spend and focus on national security. It has proved difficult to differentiate whether securing your borders and technology or taking measures to protect against terrorism falls under a defence or security budget. With only the United States having a dedicated department purely for Homeland Security other countries are now having to look at their defence budget to incorporate a major increase in spend in the security sector.
With this in mind APDS will be fully integrating both sectors, exhibitors that are providing services/equipment/technology to accommodate the growing trend in securing a nation will be able to network and meet with the right audience to showcase their capabilities.
We are working with and will bring delegations from security sectors within the Asia Pacific. Police forces, airports, customs, prison services, corporate leaders all have a major interest in procurement of critical infrastructure, platforms, intelligence, software or services to secure their nation.
